Outside Shots!

I love taking photos of my quilts outside. Even if it's 29 degrees out. You can learn how to make free pieced letters using my tutorial, available here.

As I was taking my pictures one of my neighbors came by and offered to take a picture of me with my Not Paper Pieced quilt. This photo also  shows how big the quilt is.

This is the River of Light quilt, in all of it's bright and wild glory.

Here's the back, which was made from a lot of leftover bits and stash.

love the quilt and the photo of the two of you together. Looking forward to another enjoyable year watching your work and you work.

The outside light gives lots of life to the quilt that is always there, but not visible with inside light. Beautiful quilts! I have a stand like that to photograph quilts, and everytime I try it, the wind grabs the quilt like a sail and topples it. Glad you got yours all photographed.

Wonderful outdoor shots and the one with next to Not Paper Pieced is fantastic….your coat really brings out the bright “Not” in the quilt.

Two beautiful finishes - the winter sun light really helps them shine.

I love them both! And paper piecing is not somewhere I wish to visit. LOL!!!

These really came out well. So nice to see them in the natural light, next to your gorgeous red coat!
