This is the WELCOME for the little quilt I am planning for my side door. Letters do tend to grow, but I have more "wiggle room in the height of the panel than I do in the width. I am not quite sure about these colors and fabrics, but hey, I have to start somewhere.
As for the comments in yesterday's post, you guys sure are funny.

Well, I don't think we were intending to be funny. I was just concerned that you'd shared your next project idea with us and we'd jumped in with a bunch of ideas and suggestions and questions. I didn't like to think that you'd be sitting in front of your computer wailing, "Why can't they all just leave me be!"

I don't have a blog but do belong to several forums where people give suggestions and share experiences. So, I'm asking this in all seriousness: what is your purpose for blogging? Are we to make suggestions and share ideas or merely to cheer? I don't want to be offensive and suggest ideas when, in fact, you don't want them. If we aren't to participate, why are we reading? Just asking. I do enjoy seeing your creations, even though my own aesthetic is different from yours.
Spring is coming...if only to your door.
Love the colours!
Great idea!
