We started at Julie's house in Memphis TN, then got in the car and drove past Millie Drive.
(Millie was terribly excited.)
over the Mississippi River into Arkansas,
which was very flat.
Into Missouri
where the road was very straight.
Until we got to the University City Public Library. (Millie was very eager.)
Woo Hoo!
Then we met Cherie and had dinner at Mama Campisi's (which was very good).
This time it was Cherie who was a little star-struck.
The letter class is today, and the lecture is tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Lots of luck, don't be nervous, be a little spontaneous.
The best of luck; knock um' dead...uh, well maybe not "Dead", but you get the idea. :/)
Just be you and it will be just fine!
Everybody there is excited to see you, YOU. So show them YOU.
Thanks for the reminder, the Mississippi River. I walked across the whole thing one year - 1994 or 5. We went to see where it starts and walked across the earliest section. (We were stationed in the first city on the river, Bemidji, Minnesota.) It was fun, and we have a great story to tell.
Hugs
OH wow Miss Millie. Mum says she knows exactly where you are! Her brother, our Uncle Stormie, used to live in U City! Mum says they would drive by the library on the way from his house to where his church was.
We wish you all the best. Have a wonderful time.
Millie look like she is having a wonderful time!!!!
Luck, luck, luck, luck.
I'm so thrilled for you Lynne and it's lovely that in the midst of everything that's happening for you, you're still finding time to share the experience with Millie.
