I generally make only one letter at a time. But if each letter is a different color or fabric, I make several simultaneously. Here is the sewing I did on Sunday morning.
The lower case letters will finish out at about four and a half inches tall. The skinny sections are 5/8" wide.

Nice, thanks for show us your steps. Funny how the brain is trained to read black letters on white/light back gound.
Yes, good info on your process. It's amazing how large they look on the photo but not that big in reality.
