Well, here's CHAMPAGNE. (You can/should click the image to enlarge, and then click again for more detail.) I love all the letters that don't have curves.
The "G" isn't bad, I'm worried it's too pink. The "C" is a do-over, and the "P" suffers from an unfortunate visual association.
Time to leave it up on the wall for a few days.

I think the 'G' is fine Lynne. I like the first 'A' best of all, though.

the G is very attractive. as a former newspaper person, setting type, leading and kerning are always most difficult when done by hand.
I liek the G. It reminds me of the bubbles in champagne. I'd leave it as it is.
Oh, do I ever like the M!!!

I'm enjoying your 9-letter color word quilt...what made you settle on words with 9 letters? Really cool project.
In stitches,

Awesome job! I think your font is incredible - you're brave! And I love your M and N! That looks like a difficult font to do, but I think you've nailed it!
Your comment on P made me hoot!
I like the G a lot, though I think the M is very nice. I always have trouble with diagonal letters.
I wondered how you were going to represent your "white" word with a white background ... and now I see ;-)
