Every summer I have a container garden in the small space between the building and the parking lot out back.

I grow herbs, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Mint, Parsley, and about three or four different kinds of Basil. I also have two cherry tomato plants, two pepper plants, and a bush bean, along with two long planters filled with Arugula and some lettuce.
This bin full of fresh cut basil and some parsley will soon be fresh

Mmmm... Pesto is so yummy!!
I'm a huge pesto fan too - mmmmm :) I love grilled chicken with pesto pasta topped a heaping helping of shredded parmesan. I've been known to eat it cold right out the fridge the day after it was made - it's one of those dishes where the flavor is definitely better the second day.
