I should be working on a kitty quilt for a friend, but after three working days of hell dealing with SMTP, DNS, SPF, RBL, SURBL, IMAP ,POP, Spam, filters and assorted JUNK, I deserve to do whatever the hell I want.
So I went into the studio and started sewing up a forest.
I had this idea of a little quilt full of tiny trees, with maybe a little house somewhere. I wanted something that had a foot in tradition, so I used a light background for them. My plan was to make them really tiny, about 3" tall, but these are a bit bigger. I hate to trim them down before I sew them up, so they've got a lot of space around them now.
I was originally going to make them all green, but I think they need a little piss and vinegar.
