I've made 20 of these square-in-square blocks so far. Here are 5. I made these between shoveling, breadbaking and laundry. We had 12 inches of snow (was supposed to be 6-10") and more is forecast today (8 - 15") and tonight, and then more on Wednesday.
(sigh)
These blocks are currently 14-1/2" square.

Woah you live under just a huge snow machine! :)
They are all so pretty the last two especially so :)
There's nothing like working on sunshine while it's pounding down snow outside. We are on our second blizzard in two weeks. Next time I go to town, I'm buying yellow fabric!
Looks like the perfect antidote for all that snow! I thought we had it bad here (Illinois) until I read your post. You have so much snow!!
I love your sunshine squares. I can hardly wait to see the top assembled!
Love the yellow! And that bird fabric is so great right? I have the teal and orange, but that's no surprise, as I do everything in those colors! Great quilt to get through the winter months! Just keep thinking spring! HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Love the colours you are using
love and hugs Gina xxx
Having just finished a mostly yellow quilt, I can continue the sunny, warm feelings by watching you make progress on yours . . . perfect timing for you (v. all that snow)!
