This is the bag I use when I carry quilts around. I made it about 26 years ago (as you can tell by the fabrics). The block about 15" square, and there's a different block using the same fabrics on the other side. The bag is about 17" square, but only 2" deep. Obviously, it's
brown - my least favorite color.

I was showing Julie's quilt and the
Daft Zebras to a friend and she said, "Lynne, I have a challenge for you. You have to get a new bag. This bag totally does not represent you any more. You HAVE to make a new one that really shows what you can do.
So that's my plan for today. Stay tuned!

I agree with The Selvage Fairy.
After all, all those gorgeous scraps you must have lying around.
Yes, new bag indeed. And you need to donate this bag to The Ladies Who Like Brown Society.
I agree - you do need a new bag. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Lynne:
I am so glad I checked out your blog.... now isn't that a better representation of you..... I agree. That new bag is fabuolous. Us quilt shop owners throw down the gauntlet all the time, it's nice to see you took the challenge over the long weekend!
