If a three year old child colors a house, you may very likely end up with a drawing that looks like this:

How do you translate it into fabric? Use dots, of course...

This dotted house block is 19-1/2" tall and 24-1/2" wide.

I just love the translation!! I have been collecting dotted fabric for some time now with a special project in mind. I am sure I have way too much fabric though. Oh Well.
Perfect! I can't wait to see this quilt top all put together...it's going to be great!
I have really enjoyed watching your housing development come together. I really love the sky fabric in this one. Great work!
Such beauty in the eyes of a 3 yr old. Anxious to see the full translation ... TTFN ~Marydon
Excellent interpretation. Kids are so naturally brilliant. It's fun to see each house as they're made. So pretty.
This is a brilliant interpretation of the 3 yo coloring! I love the sky fabric on this one. And the spotted kitties peeking out are such fun!
So cute
Brilliant interpretation. When are we going to see all the blocks together?
