I finished both alphabets. Here are pictures. I still don't know which one I will use for my Alphabet Sampler Quilt.Millie has made her opinion perfectly clear.
Lynne, these are both fantastic. Sooo much fun, you've done an excellent job. After you choose which one you want to keep, you could always send the other top to me. I'd be happy to handquilt it and keep it!!! your work is wonderful.
Well, I'm no help either. I think they both look great. Probably the white ones are a bit more like those in a traditional sampler. or put them both in. congrats on getting to Z. I agree that W (and M) aren't fun letters to do, and there's almost no way to get them smaller.
Although I think their both great. I'm so impressed you go them both done so quick! I'm leaning with Millie on this one. I mean, how can you go wrong with a smart cat who has her own blog? Kudos!
My name is Lynne Tyler and I live in New England in the USA. I've been sewing since 5th grade and making quilts since college. I love working with abstract shapes and color. I love strip piecing. I'm trained as an artist, and I love the graphic quality of quilts. I'd rather take the time to make something beautiful than buy something ugly. My companion is my tuxedo cat, Millie, who has her own blog at darlingmillie.blogspot.com.

These are both wonderful sets of letters. I'm very inspired by your work, it's all so lovely.

No help either I'm afraid, but I think that they're beautiful.
I hate doing M's. I truy to avoid any words with 'm' in it!

Aw Lynne, these are fantastic. I've been watching them evolve wondering how you were going to possibly choose between the two.
