Well, almost. It's all finished. You can see my little "love note" (the xxx...), and the label in the opposite corner. Now to get up the courage to wash it and make it crinkly. You can click the photos to enlarge.
You do such beautiful work! I had to smile when I saw the photo of Gizzy helping you do binding. Rusty does the same thing. I have to move a paw or head or tail to keep sewing. He somehow thinks I need him to hold it down. You are inspiring!
My name is Lynne Tyler and I live in New England in the USA. I've been sewing since 5th grade and making quilts since college. I love working with abstract shapes and color. I love strip piecing. I'm trained as an artist, and I love the graphic quality of quilts. I'd rather take the time to make something beautiful than buy something ugly. My companion is my tuxedo cat, Millie, who has her own blog at darlingmillie.blogspot.com.

It looks fabulous!!
This one is gorgeous...good going getting that binding on so fast!
What a cheerful quilt - I love it!
I, too, find it a little scarey to put a new quilt in the wash. But I love how they come out.
