Binding Blitzen

 

For the Blitzen quilt, I am alternating holiday fabrics in gold and silver.


I’ve sewn it all around the four sides of the quilt, now I just have to fold it over to the front and pin it all round.

    Great idea for the binding - those subtle shifting of fabrics keeps the eye engaged.

    I somehow missed this post but love the alternating gold and silver, oh wait, Silver and Gold (as sung by Burl Ives no less) binding strips. Gives that final bit of sophistication.
