She's back in the hospital again, and none too pleased about it.
I have been putting as much of my house back to rights as I can, and that included rehanging my quilts. They look the same, but before I had the rods resting on push pins I stuck into the wall. They stayed just fine until someone or something (like a strong gust of wind) knocked them down, This, of course, was hardly ideal.
Incidentally, I'm letting my hair grow. This is me now. I'm not sure how long I'll let it grow, and I don't know how long I want it to get, but it's a work in progress. I am not sure I recognize myself in the mirror, but part of that is how much silver I have, I know I should probably change my profile picture, but I have to get used to this first!
Sometimes a trip and stay in hospital is unavoidable, I can so understand how your Mum is feeling right now. Her yellow bird is so bright and cheery. XXX to you both.
ReplyDeleteHi Millie, If I did not have such fine hair I would grow my hair out too and then put it up and not have to worry about hair cuts. You look great with the silver, btw. Mine is mostly white. Meanwhile, loving those birds. Hope your mom is feeling okay. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking terrific with the longer hair :-) Love the birds. Best wishes to Mom for speedy discharge!
ReplyDeleteI think the first bird pops and seems, from what you’ve mentioned about your mom, the better of the two birds to represent her. Case in point, NOT. HAPPY. about being back in the hospital. Your new flooring looks great!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom is feeling better soon. I like both birds, but the sunflower one appeals to me more. I retired just before Covid hit and decided to let my really short hair grow. It is now half-way down my back (I've trimmed a couple of inches off several times). Your hair looks good. I love your glasses!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new flooring. And yes to your growing out hair (looking good!). Sad to hear about your mom's hospital visit - definitely not fun. Hoping it helps somehow though. And I prefer the first bird for her.
ReplyDeleteI think your hair looks great right now. I hope your Mom gets (and stays) home soon.
ReplyDeletePat
