I've been working on the red blocks, and after working on them for a while on Sunday, I've got them all figured out.
You start with some of these.
Cut them apart like this...
Add another red strip to the bottom.
Add a large white triangle and another big red one, and that's it.
Here are nine blocks. I'm not sure I'm in love with them, but I'll make a few more before I decide.

I think the fabrics you chose are superb, but I like symmetrical, so the offset strips I'm not sure about.Those burgundy shades, I really like them together, ( sorry to be so honest, I am known to be always practical!!)

ReplyDeleteI like the graphic look. Squinting at the screen trying to envision what will change when the blocks are sewn together, especially those not quite pinwheel intersections. No worry - you will make this amazing.
