Mixing It Up

Here are a few of the big blocks with some of the minis.

I'm not sure they bring anything to the party. I'm going to make more blocks and then I'll play around a bit. 

However...


I think this proves rather definitively that the Slashed Squares in black and white can work very successfully.

    Love the B&W. Wonder how it would be to replace the 6" square in a few big blocks with a trimmed mini.

    Perhaps the narrowest strips of colour every now and then across the quilt?

    Nice! Well done. Black and white fabrics always combine to create something especially neat and tidy, this one is no exception.
