I assembled all the diamonds into long rows, then pinned them together.
Then sewed them all up.
All quilt flimsies look like stained glass when you shine light through them, and this is no exception. It was so pretty I took a picture.
So here it is, the finished flimsy. I know I thought its name would be Diamond Tapestry, but the colors are far too vibrant, so Diamond Jubilee it is.
It's about 68 x 80 inches (173 x 203 cm).
btw, the movie, The Martian, was very good and I highly recommend it.
Superbly stunning, leadlight or stained glass, a true winner.
