OK, I made all the Red-on-red blocks. I knew adding an inner border would mean I'd have to add a bit to the outermost blocks to accommodate the width of the inner border. No problem in theory, but in practice....
Well, I forgot. So I had to do a bit of fussy sewing. You might be able to see where I had to make up for my brain fog. Since the quilt will be mine, I'm not worried about it. I've only got the borders done on three sides, I hope to finish it today.
I'm pretty excited, because it looks really good so far.

Looks great, love the B&W zebra border with it.
ReplyDeleteMillie was right, then - the black and white for the inner border was the perfect choice.

I love it...what a great quilt!
ReplyDeleteYou had the perfect solution...it fits right in (don't tell!!) Will the binding be the same B/W?
ReplyDeleteThose red on red are amazing, yummy, and just the right border.
ReplyDeleteI love it!
Hugs!
It looks SO good -- LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLove it. With the sticks going every which way, it doesn't matter about the extra pieces. Interesting and vibrant quilt.
