Well, here's CHAMPAGNE. (You can/should click the image to enlarge, and then click again for more detail.) I love all the letters that don't have curves.
The "G" isn't bad, I'm worried it's too pink. The "C" is a do-over, and the "P" suffers from an unfortunate visual association.
Awesome job! I think your font is incredible - you're brave! And I love your M and N! That looks like a difficult font to do, but I think you've nailed it!
I think the 'G' is fine Lynne. I like the first 'A' best of all, though.

the G is very attractive. as a former newspaper person, setting type, leading and kerning are always most difficult when done by hand.
ReplyDeleteI liek the G. It reminds me of the bubbles in champagne. I'd leave it as it is.
ReplyDeleteOh, do I ever like the M!!!

I'm enjoying your 9-letter color word quilt...what made you settle on words with 9 letters? Really cool project.

ReplyDeleteYour comment on P made me hoot!
I like the G a lot, though I think the M is very nice. I always have trouble with diagonal letters.
ReplyDeleteI wondered how you were going to represent your "white" word with a white background ... and now I see ;-)
