I'm auditioning the "ground" fabrics. This is generally headed in the direction I want it to go. The rows are currently 16-1/2" wide and no more than 5" tall.
My copy of "Liberated Quiltmaking II" is due tomorrow....
I like you arrangement. I always struggle with that when I do free-pieced trees and houses. I like the way the background is a different color in each row. I also really like the three trees to the left of the house. Very nice.
I love your trees....especially the one on the bottom right :) I received Liberated Quiltmaking II on Friday, yea!! LOVE IT and it's great to see Tanya's quilt featured in it :)
I like the mustard yellow. But, I am the queen of contrast. The blue swirls seem to not highlight the colors as much.
ReplyDeleteI like them all, I think the swirls look like snow on the ground. (Ours finally just melted, now we have mud!)
ReplyDeleteI adore what you're making. There's just something about it that tickles me to bits.

ReplyDeleteI like them all.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely reads summer, fall, winter when you use those fabrics.
i love the winter trees too. Like Cherie, your b/w on the far right is my favorite!
The ground fabrics are beautiful! Everything looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh I really like this, but then I like everything you do. But no kidding this is really super. Your Mom, Jeanne
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this Lynne! Really love it. :)
