I made these two potholders following the instructions on the Sew, Mama, Sew! Blog. I even bought the Insul-Bright heat resistant batting. They are about 9" square, and I made them from scraps. I think they are great looking, and I kind of hate to use them. I'll get over it.
They are great! I've made a lot of potholders that way, to try out different techniques :-)
ReplyDeleteYours are beautiful, and I'm sure you'll use them. If not, hurry up and make 3 pairs, that way it won't be so hard to start using them...
Very cute potholders! I agree with tine - make more, and then it's easier to use them! I've started a pair of potholder this week. Finished one, one more to go. That insul-bright is the only way to go with pot holders. The regular battings just don't cut it!
ReplyDeleteI'm saving this one -- GOTTA make some of these... so many scraps, such fun and SO useful... THANKS!!!!
ReplyDeleteooooh! WANT!
ReplyDeleteGreat colours and, yes, I too would find it difficult to use them.
