Hi Lynne, I read your post on Hands with great interest. I too have the kind of looks that I have had to grow into. I've also shown my hands a couple of times on my blog, mainly because of the gardening taking a toll on the fingernails which I can never keep tidy. Your quilting is beautiful so those hands are talented no matter how you feel they look. Happy Stitching!
That light blue makes this quilt sparkle like the cuts on a diamond or crystals or precious stones. Waterford crystal or 24 caret diamond. Only you have 23 cuts. Facets. I am trying to help you name this quilt because Whirlygig isn't the best name. I see different sparkling jewels.. Rubies, tourmaline, aquamarine, amethyst.....Sparkling Jewels. Just my two cents. Long time follower. First time comment. I enjoy following your quilting journey.
BEAUTIFUL!! I bought your bird pattern a LONG time ago and have yet to make a single bird. Yours are all so cute..maybe I'll get started on them sooner rather than later.
Very striking pretty top!
