This Pink is IT!

Woo Hoo! I got it!

I got rid of all the four patch diamonds with cream in them. Then I looked at it again.

I thought, hell, I'm getting rid of all the medium sized cream diamonds too. Now THIS is IT.

Well. It doesn't mean I won't tinker with one or two things if I think it needs it.

Yeah, I know it's a lotta pink! Now I need a title with the word pink in it.

  2. Nailed it.Place on the podium! Years ago , late 80's early 90's I was working in an office setting. All the ladies I was working with were getting a ring that was all the rage. "Pink Ice"! All of us were sporting pink diamonds! That's immediately what came to mind, and I am the worse at naming quilts. Thanks fo always sharing with us.

  4. Taking out those creams really made a huge difference. The final version is beautiful. As for a name, pink diamonds are generally called "fancy pinks," so how about that? Seems right to me!

  5. Nailed it! I kind of like the reference to the children's book, "Pinkalicious", but the quilt's a beauty whatever you name it.

  8. I love that you take so many pictures as well as explain why and what you changed. I almost always think it’s good at first and not necessarily understand why you want to change something but when you do and show the new design I always go Wow. Thank you for sharing.

  12. Pink Champaign because the smaller diamonds remind me of bubbles.
