Woo Hoo! I got it!
I got rid of all the four patch diamonds with cream in them. Then I looked at it again.
I thought, hell, I'm getting rid of all the medium sized cream diamonds too. Now THIS is IT.
Well. It doesn't mean I won't tinker with one or two things if I think it needs it.
Yeah, I know it's a lotta pink! Now I need a title with the word pink in it.

You are truly in the pink.
ReplyDeleteWHOO HOO indeed!! It truly is a pink quilt in all it's glory
ReplyDeleteTickled pink
ReplyDeleteHow about just plain PINK!
ReplyDeleteI love TICKLED PINK!
ReplyDeleteNailed it.Place on the podium! Years ago , late 80's early 90's I was working in an office setting. All the ladies I was working with were getting a ring that was all the rage. "Pink Ice"! All of us were sporting pink diamonds! That's immediately what came to mind, and I am the worse at naming quilts. Thanks fo always sharing with us.

We have a children's book, "Pinkalicious." Thanks again for sharing your process.
ReplyDeleteTaking out those creams really made a huge difference. The final version is beautiful. As for a name, pink diamonds are generally called "fancy pinks," so how about that? Seems right to me!
ReplyDeleteThe pink of perfection.
ReplyDeleteNailed it! I kind of like the reference to the children's book, "Pinkalicious", but the quilt's a beauty whatever you name it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tickled Pink!!
ReplyDeleteAw, hell, you are right.....that is IT! LOL. You make me laugh out loud, and that is good these days.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne! Your quilt is gorgeous. Love all your diamond quilts. How about 'Pretty In Pink'?
ReplyDeleteI love that you take so many pictures as well as explain why and what you changed. I almost always think it’s good at first and not necessarily understand why you want to change something but when you do and show the new design I always go Wow. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt!!! it is so rich in depth of color and I LOVE PINK!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that it is pink without being babyish.
ReplyDeleteits blinking pink alright, l love it and how you finally arrived at this design
