I'll be at Quilted Threads today, teaching a class on the birds, asterisk flowers, hearts and my free-pieced butterflies.
We're going to have fun. I've got something going in the slow-cooker for dinner tonight, so dinner will be ready when I get home. Whee!
I must say that your quilt is astounding.
ReplyDeleteLucky students - I know y'all will have LOTS of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll have a wonderful time teaching your class today. I wish I lived closer than 3,000 miles away so I could attend a few of your classes.
ReplyDeleteI think this quilt may be my all time favorite out of all the amazing quilts you have created. Your birds remind me of the sand pipers I see running along the shoreline at our coast. I love their crisp angular shape. The way those sharp points are carried through in the wings of the butterflies, hearts & the asterisks. The quilting pattern really adds a great sense of movement & liveliness to the entire quilt. Simply stunning! Can't wait to hear what a fun time you have teaching today.
What a wonderful quilt-whimsical, colorful, and FUN! The quilting is beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fabulous day, Lynne.
