For The Birds

I've been wrestling with a lot of things lately, so this weekend I decided to have a little fun in the sewing studio.
I thought I'd make some birds. Here are two.
Here are some more "wings."

And to help get me out of the doldrums, I did a little "retail therapy."  I bought one of Wanda's quilts. I bought Sparkling Stars. WHEE!!!!

    I love Sparkling Stars. Your birds have given me an idea. Need to sit down with pencil and paper.

    Just saw Wanda's blog and when I read that "Lynne" bought the 'sparkling stars' quilt I thought of you! Now on your page I see that it was you. How exciting!

    I have not been reading hardly any posts lately, but I am so glad I saw this one! I LOVE how these birds are coming!! I am a bird 'nut' myself. So very enjoyable to see what you are doing with them! love it!!!
