Peggi wondered yesterday if I could make a free pieced dog and fox for my The Quick Brown Fox quilt. I had been wondering the same thing.
I can find dogs (Tanya made some great ones in her stunning free pieced quilt about a year ago), but not foxes. Anybody got any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteI made it a couple of years ago. The dogs are made very free-form and some look like foxes and others can look like beagles depending on how you construct them. One of them might work for your quilt.

I see that Tonya beat me to it. When I did my fox, the thing that made it look like a fox was the white under the chin and on the chest. I left the tail loose and put white on the end of it. I got lazy about making legs so he is in the loft of the henhouse. Check out April 9,2007
