More Robot Madness

I unleashed the new robot vacuum in the sewing studio. I confess I moved things around and got stuff off the floors so it would be a bit easier for it.

It picked up all the dust, as I expected, but it also picked up fabric scraps, push pins and sewing pins. It's cool that it works, but the best part is I AM NOT DOING IT!! I'm sure I'll get over watching the thing bounce around from one place to another after a while.

If you're waiting for pictures of Millie sitting on this while it vacuums, don't hold your breath. Millie is getting used to it, and doesn't run away any more. But given how many videos on YouTube showing cats sitting on these things, I thought this question on Amazon was hilarious and wanted to share it.

Do you have a stick with a magnet on the end, perfect for those steel pins, not so good for others. But I do think the robot vac is a great innovation.

Yaaaay - I'm starting to warm up to the idea of getting one too. And I suspect that Millie's first few trips on top of it will be while you're not at home. Then one day you'll come home unexpectedly and spring her!

Brand, model. Just seems it wouldn't get corners. Convenience works for me at age 70.

Oh, you need to change the qualifier when you want to send a comment, I am not a robot, but my vacuum cleaner is! LOL

In my experience, Millie takes a dim view of a lot of things.

I really like my robot vacuum too, although it did damage some of my wood floors - or maybe showed previously repaired spaces.

I could see this being a welcome addition to a sewing room. The Amazon question/answer IS hilarious; thanks for sharing.

Brilliant piece of equipment - I've never heard of these before. Looks like they make a good job of collecting all the unwanted sewing debris.
