Suggestions, Please

I am good at a few things. I can draw, I can paint, I can cook and I can sew. I'm a good teacher, a good Geek and a good mother. I'm good at figuring things out and solving puzzles. After that, it all goes to pot, not that I much care. I've always been contrary.

One of the things I suck at is naming. I can never come up with good names for my quilts, and this quilt is no exception.

So while this quilt, which is all sewn up, was inspired by the winter woods, I'm not sure naming it something winter related is really the way to go. (Then again, I could be wrong.) I need your help. What should this quilt be called? Leave your suggestion in the comments, and let's avoid the corny, unoriginal, predictable or trite, so please don't say "heartbeat", Zig Zag" or "ripples."

Hey, I said I was contrary.

thanks

I LOVE it----"Winter Sunshine"
I so enjoy watching your quilts come together.

How about Prism? You know, when the sunlight shines through the ice and throws all those lovely fragments of color around. Hope you are staying warm!

" East and West" , I love the way the fabrics travel, and my eyes go with the blues.

Sharp Shadows. Winter sunlight on snow through trees makes sharp lines and shadows.

Reflections
I keep seeing your forest reflected in water, with all the dancing shadows and highlights. This quilt has caused you to do some reflecting as you worked through the process too

Hi Lynne,
Have loved watching the progress of this - but I can't come up with a 'suitable' name - just keep thinking ::

"Cut bait"

As you've been working and sharing inspiration photos of the scene outside your window, I've kept thinking of the poem by Robert Frost -- but my suggestion is this -- SNOW DAY.

I'm thinking something musical like Good Vibrations or Winter Song.

I don't know why but the following came to mind...
"Au contraire"
"Off the beaten (winter) path"
"The road less travelled"

I was just looking at this quilt again.. I followed your progress and admire your design strategy... and the word "dappled" came to mind... dappled sunlight peeking through the tree branches... don't know if you can do anything with that thought but I thought I'd share it.

Earth angles. The reason is I love triangles and all the colors can be found in nature. Maybe I should have said Natural Angles and let everyone wonder what the heck does that mean.

The first name that came to me was "Zazzle" since it looks a little like 'z's....

Migraine! My eyes see this when I have one!

Pizzazz! (Not to be confused with pizza....) Because it has a lot of it. Contrary, mentioned above, is also apropos.
