Blue Topaz is Finished

The baby quilt I made for my future grandbaby, due in less than a month, is all finished.

I'm happy with it. Now I have to take some beauty shots of it, run it through the washing machine to make it soft and crinkly, and then send it to the City of Angels.

And then make your favourite baby another one ... and another one ... and another one!

Such a fine use of color! And your fabrics will draw the baby's attention for a long time.

I really like your baby quilt. I am a new blog follower, so forgive me if you have answered this many times before.....would you mind telling us what type of batting you use for baby quilts? I have a new great-? coming in November and would like to make one for it, and wonder what batting would be good to make it soft and flexible.
thank you!

This is so gentle, and I like the symmetry in your layout so much, lemon and blue with a few other splashes. The baby and Mum who receive this will be warmed, both in body, and in her heart.
