Black Birds

Today I have two black birds to show you.

I was thinking of a friend who loves polka dots when I made this black bird.

I deliberately made this black bird shorter and squatter. This seems to me to be an older woman who doesn't take any crap from anybody. On the other hand, she is very stylish.

I think the shorter bird is just more focused. She knows what she wants and knows her priorities.
The more flamboyant bird just loves to be social. If there's a gathering she is there!
Loving these. How many so far?

You're killin' me, friend. I am SO ready to start birding! Just need to wrap up a couple of nearly-done projects . . . .

I'm so enjoying all your gorgeous birds! And I love the stories/personalities that go with them! So fun!

I have a question though: how big are your birds? Your fabric choices for them are terrific!
