In The Pink

I hung up the pink letters and added a dried flower wreath to the front door. I am happy with the way it looks.

For Pat, who was worried about what the neighborhood association might say, this is what it looks like from outside. You can hardly tell.  As you can all see I have some work to do on the front steps.  A job for another sunny weekend.

By the way, a week ago I traded in my car. I continue to be amazed how long it takes to do that.  I was hungry afterward, so I took myself to my favorite restaurant where I indulged in dessert.

My first reaction was embarrassment, but I got over it.

Your entryway is nicely sheltered, too.

Everything looks great... doors and dessert. Does Mille get to spend some time squeaking at birds out in the screened porch?

Damn! I love cannoli but have never had it presented quite like that. BTW...I think your pink entrance is quite gorgeous and how could someone not smile when coming up to your house?

I, too, wondered whether the neighbourhood association might be concerned about your pink doors. I mean, these are the people who needed a photograph of your cat before deciding whether or not she was 'acceptable'! Even though the impact of the hot pink is reduced somewhat by the screened porch, I wouldn't be surprised if at the next meeting of the management committee, acceptable colours for front doors isn't on the agenda! LOL

I think it looks sensational, by the way. As do the letters.
