Snow, Cold, Busy

This is the view out my front window. This photo was taken about 4 PM on Tuesday. The snow wasn't done falling. We had almost two feet of snow, and it's been blowing and it's cold. It's 52F in my sewing studio, so I've been avoiding it.

Otherwise I'm busy, but fine.

Perhaps you could consider hand quilting Lynne - that way you could piece quilt tops in summer and hand quilt them in the main part of the house, where it's warm, in winter?

Be careful --- glad the power has cooperated this time around!

Groan... (cold temperatures... inside and out!) I'm glad you're staying busy, this kind of scene is reminiscent of my childhood. Is it too soon to start a countdown to spring calendar? ;)

Little space heaters work great, and aren't that expensive. Think of all the sewing you could be doing.

I second the recommendation for the space heater. I use a cheap one from Bed, bath, beyond, and it's way cheaper than heating 2400 sq ft. Plus, I'm warmer. I set the thermostat to 60 or lower and then point the heater toward mememe.

Either that or I'd move the machine. It's a long time until spring.

Hang on to your hat....I can only assume the snow we are getting right now is going to be headed your way! Stay warm!
