Row by Row

I'm sewing up the rows for my Red Letter quilt.  I like sewing the letters together first, and adding extra space at each end, then sewing the rows together. I generally don't trim the rows until just before I am to sew them together. I don't want the edge to stretch, and I want it perfectly straight.

Yes, I made a new O.

Go watch Tonya on The Quilt Show! (It's free this week)

we have such different ways to work - so fun to see yours. this O would be an interesting way to make a Q.

I guess it's time to bite the bullet and put the letters together...yikes!
