If you are participating in the Red Letter Quilt Along, or even if you're not... If you make free pieced letters, I have a word of advice:
Do NOT trim your letters to size until you are going to sew them together.

No matter HOW TEMPTING, do NOT trim them. Make them, add a bit of a spacer on the right side, put them up on the design wall and then MOVE ALONG!

Trust me on this. Heck, trust TONYA!

If want to participate in the Red Letter Quilt Along (even if you don't want to make RED letters), come right in and join the fun. There's no penalty for starting late, no prize for finishing on time.

About these vowels, yes, they are mostly orange, aren't they? Hmmm... I might have to change that.

Oh, "Rule" Two: Keep your "misfit" letters.
