Tonya!

This is Tonya Ricucci, author of Word Play Quilts, and creator of the wonderful free-pieced alphabet. She's holding my quilt, Letters From Home, which is going to be in the book. This photo was taken at Quilt Festival (Quilt Market?) in Houston, at the Martingale booth.

Woo hoo! The book comes out December 7th! I can't wait!

You can click the photo to enlarge, then click it again for more detail. If you REALLY want to see detail, you can go here to see the full 8.4 MB photo and enlarge to your heart's delight!)

I look forward to the book coming out, and am loving the colours quilt, I've tried paper pieced letters but the liberated ones look much more fun

I've just seem Julie's post and can only repeat what I wrote there.

Without Gwen and Ton none of us would have "met" and there wouldn't be this huge clan of quilters all breaking the rules!

I can't wait for 6th December. Really must get my orders in before the stocks run out!

I saw Tonya there at market doing a demo for her book, but I must have missed your quilt! Ack, I wish I had looked harder. But it is still beautiful nonetheless.
