For Julie

Julie and I are doing a swap. I can't tell you what it is, but Julie asked to see my name in wonky letters on the back. I've never before started with the back. Julie wants jewel tones, fuchsias, sapphire blues, emerald greens, deep purples, and a few hot pinks. Julie isn't so big on yellows and oranges, so of course I had to use my brightest orange-y fabric in my name! (The "T" and "y" are too far apart, and have to be moved closer.)

Naturally, teasing Julie is also high on the list!

And the block yesterday was actually a part of an asterisk.

This will go on the front of Julie's quilt.

Your letters are giving me courage...I need to make a couple of phrase borders for my current quilt. Thank you for the inspiration on fabric choices, shape, etc.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I read your list of "likes" on the recent doll swap post ... and then you went on to say that you want the maker to create a quilt that is "them" whether it matches your likes or not ... hmmmmmmm (same way we me and orange/yellow - you love it so you use it and that is totally okay!)

The Swap Is On!
