Before And After

BeforeAfter
Yup, my Letters From Home quilt is stuffed in that little box (actually it's a large flat rate box from the USPS) and on Tuesday it will be flying its way across the US to a publisher. If it passes muster, and fits into an editorial need, it may be included in Tonya's book about the free-pieced letters I love making so much.

Bon Voyage!

Now I gotta finish The Quick Brown Fox... I need something to put up in that empty space!

This quilt has to be in the book...it is stunning! Well done on meeting your deadline. I can't wait to see Tonya's book...I am a big fan of both of you!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)

The quilt looks fabulous. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's chosen for inclusion in the book.

And yes, another quilt is definitely needed for that wall space. I have quilts hanging on a number of walls in my home, and the place looks quite dreary when they need to come down for any reason. (And too bad about visitors who wonder why we hang 'blankets' on our walls, hey?)

I can't wait until Tonya's book comes out and I so hope your quilt is in it, Lynne! They'd be crazy NOT to use it. It's gorgeous and it has your butterfly in it, so cool. Love the colors you used, too.

Goodness. How exciting. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

2010 is definitely quilting book year. There are so many being published that I really want.

I shipped mine yesterday ... will feel better once I know the box is "there" instead of "in transit" ... here's to Tonya's publisher LOVING her manuscript and the colorful, liberated, lettered quilts that will be arriving on their doorstep! Wouldn't it be fun to be there when they're all spread out and in the same place??!?!?!?

I'm in with everyone else here. Love the quilt, hope it makes it in to the book. (I still need to see about remembering to pre order Tonya's book. I've got JudyL's on pre order and also Bonnie's) It made me smile to see your vintage set of Collier encyclopedias. I grew up with that same set. It was well used. Both Mom and I often read the encyclopedia just for fun. LOL.

And YES..... the space needs another quilt hanging.
