The 4:00 AM Project

This is 24 of the blocks I made yesterday as part of the 4 AM project. They will finish out at 3" square, and they will become a baby quilt, about 36" x 40". I have about half the blocks finished. Hopefully I can finish the rest today.

Why, you ask, was I awake at 4 AM in the first place? Hot flashes. Those of you who have experienced them know that's all I need to say.

Nice project, good that you put the time to good use.

At least you have something to do with your time when you can't sleep. Plus I like the brighter colors for the baby quilt, not just pastels.

Wow I like that! I really like how you did them wonky. Great contrasts in color is very good for babies. I may just have to be inspired by you and make one too. I want to do some free motion quilting on my sewing machine but all my quilt tops just keep growing and getting too big. I want to start with somthing smaller. Oh I really like this. Trish

It looks like your hot flashes are more productive than mine! *grin*

I can so identify with being up at 4 am with hot flashes, very frustrating. I love what you did, looks so much like Gwen Marston.

What a great idea. I will have to try this with my scraps.
