Sweet Sixteen & The Second Half

I told you I took pictures of my layout and sewed the blocks together accordingly. But I didn't tell you my printer only prints in black and white. So it isn't as easy as it looks. Here is my layout of 16 pieces, with the printed photos I used.
This is the second half of the quilt. Next I will sew the two big pieces together to make the top of the quilt. Then I will get the backing ready. (And do the grocery shopping, and do the laundry and make some cookies for my son... and it's going to snow later today.)

Only in B&W!? That must be quite a challenge! I only did this once....I stored each row in envelopes, and left the back-up photos in my camera so I could double-check! It's definately not as easy as it sounds!
I think this quilt looks so beautiful, you are convincing me, that I need to try this pattern -once the crazy holiday-sewing is over. LOL!

LOL you do rest somewhere in between don't you?
I think you need to get a lap top.
I actually got the idea from my hubby, because my little "crafty corner" is so far away from my computer and I get a lot of instruction and ideas from the net but it is so hard running back and forth, where my husband just said to take the lap top with me.. I do not know why I did not think of that... :)
