I-J-K-L

Here are the results of last night's work. I love the way the lower case i's can look like upper case H's. This happens because there isn't more background showing. This won't happen when the quilt is assembled.

And I am definitely loving the black background more than the white background.

I really like the black background the best, but I love that pastel dot background fabric! I think this is one of those things that changes as you work on it - it may surprise you when it's done! It's looking really good. And you're making great progress.

I like the dark background the best. It looks a bit more lively. Wonderful progress.

Hello!

I have been quietly reading your blog for the last few months. I was very inspired by it, and recently decided to try my hand at quilting with a view to it being a birthday gift for my friend's daughter.

I based it on your guides, and have put some pictures up on my blog to show the finished result.

I am so happy that I decided to try, and can't wait to start the next one:)

Thankyou for being such a great source of inspiration!

Loved the black from the beginning -- still love it. Do you have a plan for the two different backgrounds?

Hmmm...I like them both, I would have a hard time deciding.... The light background would be perfect for a child too.
These letters are really wonderful! And you are making them so fast!!!
